"Lying Liars Dice is a simple but addictive game that lets you play the old barroom standby, Liars Dice, on your iPhone. The interface is sparse, but it offers all the information you need to play Liars Dice with your friends on one phone, or against a surprisingly savvy AI." Jason Parker, Senior associate editor, CNET.com

"What makes Lying Liar’s Dice so great is that it presents the game in a way that it all makes sense, even for those who aren’t drinking. It’s not the prettiest interface ever, but once you get used to it, it’s quite fun." - Chris Hall, Senior Writer, 148Apps.com

Pros and cons of Lying Liar's Dice app for iPhone and iPad

Lying Liar's Dice app good for

This app plays really well. The computers are challenging and hard to read, and the app has never crashed on me. It also has alot of different options to make the game right for you. I highly recommend buying this app. Hope you like it as much as I do.
Good gameplay. Computer opponants make a few questionable calls on occasion. Easy play and fun
Tremendous fun. The AI is challenging and fun. It has all the popular rule variations Im aware of. Well-implemented and fun to play.

Some bad moments

real life Liars Dice is a fun, simple game that is largely about bluffing based on limited information. This app is so bare bones and ugly that its not worth my time. Playing against AI will never be as fun as real people, but at least give the AI some avatars!
Has plenty of game variations (you can toggle ones wild, spot-on, etc) - so whatever variation you want is probably available here along with a decent AI to play against. The interface is simple and utilitarian which is a big positive in my book. If you came for flashy animation look elsewhere but if you just want to play a fun, easy to learn strategy game (though luck helps too), buy it. Only four stars because while the AI is decent, it could be better at least in some of the game variations. For example I recently played 50 games (ones wild = OFF, spot-on = ON, just one computer opponent). I won 41 of those games so, definitely some room for improvement from the AI. Still a fun game though.
First the way they have it set up is boring. Theres no sound and cancels out ur music. It flips out like for example Im betting two 2s, it will sumtimes pick a random number like 3 6s and it makes me lose
The best iOS reproduction of Perudo out there. Simple and effective UI with lots of great game variants accompanying the original. The AI is actually challenging which is definitely a plus. My only complaint is that there is no wireless play with friends. Id love to see running games with friends in an future update, as well as support for music in the background. Otherwise, definitely a winner.
Either the button is too small to find or non-existent, but I found myself constantly looking for the "Call Spot-on" button, which ruined the game for me. If you can get past that, its a pretty solid game.
Got addicted to this game on red dead redemption and love having it on my phone to pass the time.
